Get your walking boots on for the Steyning Art Trail 2023

Dates: 27th, 28th, 29th May and 3rd, 4th June.
Venues open: 11:00 - 16:00

A unique quality of the Steyning Art Trail is that a large variety of venues are situated within an area small enough to be covered by foot; something not always common among rural art trails.

Visitors can enjoy all the attractions of a day out in the South Downs while strolling from venue to venue at their own pace and sampling refreshments along the route.

Among the venues in Steyning and surrounding areas, are local artists’ homes and studios, including gardens, a farm, community halls, a historic church and also a number of boutique shops on the High Street which host artists’ work for the two weekends. Many of the venues offer refreshments such as cream teas, demonstrations by the artists, and of course a friendly welcome from the makers themselves.

The members of Steyning Arts share a passion for putting on this big event each year. As a group, the artists not only embrace a variety of media and style of artwork, but also invite guest artists to exhibit in the trail so there is always something new to see.

This year there will be 64 artists exhibiting. This includes 9 new members of Steyning Arts and 13 guest artists, situated across 23 venues. Surely enough art to fill your walking boots in Steyning this summer.
